R1 INTERNALLY HEAT REACTIVATED DRYERS These dryers are normally used on medium to larger applications and use internal heaters to assist the reactivation the desiccant bed. The result is that they therefore use a smaller amount of purge air as part of the reactivation cycle and the losses from the compressed air system are reduced. These are normally of more interest for medium and larger flow rate applications where they become more energy efficient compared to heatless dryers. These dryers are all PLC controlled and can again be supplied with optional extras to meet particular requirements. Most of these dryers are supplied complete with our DESS energy saver system which will provide a dewpoint control facility to save energy consumption during periods of low load operation.
