SMALL FLOW AND POINT OF USE DESICCANT DRYERS
Small point of use dryers are regularly used in the provision of a localised dry compressed air supply for lower flow industrial applications. They are often used for equipment testing and laboratory installations that require a very compact dryer package operating in close proximity to technicians or personnel. They can provide a complete drying solution for a smaller industrial installation, or these dryers can be installed within larger industrial sites where there is a specific localised requirement for very dry air. PROCESS AND UTILITY DESICCANT DRYERS
Heatless and Heat Reactivated desiccant dryers for process or utility air industrial applications requiring the use of very dry, low dewpoint air including pharmaceutical, power generation, chemical, food and drink processing industries and other general manufacturing applications such as paint finishing. Also for any installations where outdoor pipework needs protecting from moisture being condensed out prior to supplying the downstream operating equipment.
PROCESS AND INSTRUMENT AIR DRYER SKID PACKAGES
Instrument air desiccant dryer skid packages primarily for the oil and gas industry for both offshore and onshore installations. This is the main part of Silicair Dryers’ traditional business and our level of experience in this market is second to none in the supply of simplex or duplex (duty/standby) solutions. Whether supplying as an individual package or as part of a complete turnkey project, Silicair Dryers will design a total engineered solution to meet your needs. The provision of a low dewpoint instrument air supply is essential for modern day petrochemical installations for sites across the World for operating controls, instruments and valves etc, with this air often being used in conjunction with air separation equipment for the on-site provision of generated gases.
In addition, any bespoke engineered solution often means that package designs have to be adapted to meet individual needs and requirements. Silicair Dryers is highly experienced in supplying equipment to elevated levels of specification including:
- Specific vessel codes for fabricated dryer and filter vessel to ASME VIII Div.1, ASME VIII Div.1 U stamp or PD5500.
- The provision of levels of filtration to match client and application needs.
- The installation of bespoke control systems to operate the dryers and fully integrate with client management and control systems. This also can include the use of the DESS Dryer Energy Saver System to reduce activation purge air consumption in times of low load operation.
- The use of nominated vendor equipment for items such as special valves, specific pipework materials and types of on-board instrumentation and dewpoint meters to provide any required alarm signals.
MEDIUM AND HIGH PRESSURE DRYER PACKAGES
Medium and High Pressure Dryers that are required for specific applications such as PET bottle blowing, rig tensioning, air blast switchgear and high pressure air testing requirements.
Package designs can be provided up to a maximum working pressure of 450 bar(g) and can include the supply of all associated filtration that may be needed to meet the required air quality at the outlet of the package.
MEDICAL AND DENTAL AIR DRYING PACKAGES
Silicair Dryers has many years of experience in providing dryer packages for this critical industry and to meet the current requirements of HTM 02-01 (2006) and European Pharmacopoeia Ph. Eur. medical air specifications.
Silicair Dryers can provide simplex or duplex arrangements with all required filtration and auto changeover control system to ensure the constant supply of dry air downstream. When combined with new or existing compressors / air receivers, these dryers will provide the client with a compliant system which also uses the correct materials, pipework and valves to meet the standard specification.
BREATHING AIR DRYER PACKAGES
Breathing air packages which meet the European Standard EN12021:2014. Many industrial applications require the use of operatives to be provided with an adequate supply of breathing air at the required flow rate and quality.
WAVEGUIDE DRYERS AND DRY AIR PRESSURISERS
Waveguide and cable pressurisation systems and dry air pressurisers are available for antenna, cable and radar pressurisation applications. These product designs provide extremely low pressure dry air which ensures that signal integrity and performance is maintained for these installations. All of these packages are self-contained with oil free compressor, storage vessel, dryer and regulation equipment all being supplied within a single cabinet for floor or wall mounting. These units are used within both the civilian and military market sectors and any specific requirements can be considered as part of a proposed design.
